Job Summary
Support daily operations and customer service in a building products company by managing deliveries, documentation, stock control, and customer accounts to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team in executing daily operational tasks to ensure smooth workflow
- Coordinate and arrange daily deliveries to meet customer schedules
- Perform accurate data entry and manage documentation to support operational needs
- Sort and respond to emails promptly to maintain effective communication
- Answer phone calls professionally to address inquiries and provide support
- Issue stock to authorized recipients while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Conduct regular stock takes to verify inventory levels and identify discrepancies
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization to ensure a safe working environment
- Build and sustain strong customer relationships to enhance client satisfaction
- Provide technical consultative services to help customers understand product features and meet their needs
- Supervise and monitor enquiries, quotations, and related documentation to ensure timely processing
- Enforce prompt submission of quotations and organize all documents efficiently
- Review and control supplier quotations for purchased items to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Verify purchase orders and internal approvals before final authorization
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
- Experience in construction industry will be an advantage.
- Good communication & coordination skills
- Willing to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
Other Information
Working Days: Monday - Friday (8.30AM - 5.30PM)
Alternate Saturday (8.30AM - 12.30PM)
