Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Assist senior mechanics with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work
Support diagnosis and repairs on engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, air-conditioning and electrical systems
Help carry out vehicle inspections and report any mechanical concerns found
Prepare vehicles and work areas before repairs, and follow job instructions accurately
Learn and apply proper diagnostic and repair procedures under the guidance of the Head Mechanic
Keep tools, equipment and the workshop clean, organised and in good working condition
Follow workplace safety procedures and wear PPE at all times
Report equipment defects, hazards and incidents promptly
Perform other duties assigned by the Head Mechanic or management

Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a car mechanic or in a similar workshop role
Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
Keen to learn, take instructions well and work as part of a team
