CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager specializing in wet services infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end installation, testing, and commissioning of Plumbing & Sanitary Systems, Drainage Infrastructure, and Fire Hydrant Systems. You will oversee on-site plumbing crews, coordinate pipe network layouts, manage specialist tools, and ensure strict compliance with hydraulic, public health, and fire authority codes.

Key Responsibilities

Wet Services Installation & Supervision

• Direct system layouts: Oversee the installation of internal plumbing, foul/surface water drainage networks, booster pump sets, grease traps, and external underground drainage systems.
• Manage fire protection installations: Supervise the layout and pressure testing of external fire hydrant rings, underground mains, pumps, and fire department connections.
• Coordinate services: Cross-reference plumbing and fire protection routing diagrams with structural, architectural, and HVAC schematics using BIM/CAD coordinates to prevent onsite service clashes.

Logistics & Technical Control

• Manage specialist materials: Order, inspect, and track specialized inventory, including uPVC/HDPE pipes, cast iron drainage components, valves, and fire-rated piping.
• Coordinate testing & commissioning: Lead hydrostatic pressure tests on pipe networks, leakage tests, disinfection protocols, and flow rate verifications for handover approvals.
• Control quality: Verify that all pipe joints, gradients, falls, and supports adhere strictly to technical specifications and engineering blueprints.

 Safety & Statutory Compliance

• Enforce specialized safety protocols: Implement rigorous safety standards for high-risk operations, including deep trenching for external drainage, confined space works, and pipe welding.
• Secure regulatory clearances: Coordinate inspections with relevant local regulatory bodies (such as environmental, public health, and municipal fire authorities) to obtain utility connections and compliance certificates.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Experience & Education

• Degree or Diploma: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent vocational mastery and plumbing licenses are highly valued.

• Sector expertise: Minimum of 10 years of dedicated site supervisory experience specifically managing large-scale plumbing, drainage, or fire protection installation contracts.

Core Technical Skills

• Deep technical knowledge of hydraulic principles, pipe joining methodologies (butt fusion, electrofusion, threading, grooving), and system pressure testing protocols.

• Expert fluency in interpreting mechanical layout plans, schematic isometric drawings, and structural elevations.

• Strong familiarity with Singapore public utilities, environmental protection, and fire safety codes (e.g., NFPA guidelines or localized plumbing standards).

**Hold Singapore BCA Licensed Plumber (LP) and M&E registration TP will be prefer.
