Business Manager, Distribution

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Distribution, you will drive profitable growth across multi-channel distribution portfolio by building strong partner relationships, developing new business, and turning market insight into action.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Partner Management

• Drive new business revenue and maintain strong retention of existing business across a multi-channel distribution portfolio
• Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with new and existing distribution partners
• Contribute to the design of value propositions and lead joint business planning with new partners
• Support the development of a direct sales strategy for SMEs to grow commercial and personal lines insurance sales

Portfolio & Market Analysis

• Analyse intermediaries' production, profitability and market segmentation to build and maintain a playbook that grows our share of wallet
• Conduct market research and benchmark industry best practices
• Gather market intelligence with stakeholders to identify emerging trends and buying patterns that support profitable growth

Cross-functionalCollaboration

• Work with internal stakeholders to influence product solutions, digitalisation, operational efficiency and marketing initiatives
• Identify and recommend process and product improvements

Requirements

• Diploma in Business Management, Marketing or a related field preferred
• Certifications in General Insurance (BCP, PGI, ComGI) from the Singapore College of Insurance
• 3 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in multi-channel distribution, ideally with a general insurer
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to translate numbers into business insights and actionable plans
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Self-driven team player who can work independently and manage time effectively
