Job Description
We are representing our client in the Aerospace industry to hire for a (Senior) Quality Engineer with experience in Lab Metallurgy.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and aerospace quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain quality procedures, standards, and documentation.
- Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Support customer, supplier, and internal quality activities and audits.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Operations to resolve quality issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain AS9100/ISO9001 compliance.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of Quality Engineering experience in aerospace, precision manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
- Hands-on metallurgical laboratory experience, including material evaluation, metallurgical analysis, and failure investigations.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, 5-Why, Fishbone Analysis, and CAPA.
- Familiarity with AS9100 and/or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience conducting internal, supplier, or process audits.
- Exposure to aerospace special processes such as Heat Treatment, Plasma Coating, and NDT.
- NADCAP audit knowledge or experience
