Job Description
Responsibilities
- Apply a minimum of 3 years of construction experience to manage and oversee construction site safety and compliance.
- Utilize knowledge of the Workplace Safety & Health Act to ensure all site activities meet legal safety standards.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures in accordance with BCSS and other relevant safety certifications to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits on civil and structural works to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety measures into construction planning and execution.
- Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and reports to support compliance and continuous improvement.
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma equivalent or Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health.
- Possession of BCSS and other relevant safety certificates.
- Knowledge of the Workplace Safety & Health Act.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in civil and structural work.
