Job Description

Software Engineer (Automation Control)

$3,500 – $5,000

Kaki Bukit

Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:45pm

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software for automated equipment.
Review, maintain, and enhance existing software and legacy code.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with installed automation systems.
Prepare user manuals and technical documentation for developed programs.
Liaise with customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the automation industry.
Proficient in PC-based programming, such as Visual C#.
Familiar with PLC programming, such as Omron or Beckhoff.
Familiar with motion controllers and actuators, such as IAI or AD Link.
Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Able to work independently and as part of a team with a positive, can-do attitude.
Willing to travel and work at customer sites when required.
