Warehouse Assistant

Jadia Logistics Pte Ltd is looking for an organized and motivated warehouse assistant to join our company. The warehouse assistant will be responsible for ensuring inventory is received, processed, organized and stored. The warehouse assistant will also package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery.

Warehouse Assistant Responsibilities and Duties

- Inspect and receive incoming goods, ensure to check that the correct quantity and type of goods have been received
- Labelling of goods
- Sorting, organizing, relocating and re-stacking goods to make space for a new delivery and rearrange inventory
- Keep records of goods, their location and quantity
- Move inventory and materials across facilities
- Preparing outbound order ahead of delivery times
- Organize and maintain records of inventories up to date
- Assisting in counting of physical inventory
- Directing and conducting routine warehouse cleaning tasks including sweeping, dusting and restroom sanitations of stores
- Monitor the suitability of the warehouse to ensure no damage to stocks
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles
- Work as an active team member to complete team goals
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Knowledge and relevant experience
- Able to work independently
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
- Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
- physically fit and able to lift and move stock in a safe manner
- Require to operate forklifts and pallet jacks, so a candidate with relevant license and experience is preferred.
- Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse
- Experienced in inventory software and databases will be a bonus
