Cleaning Operation Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee daily cleaning operations, with a primary focus on kitchen stewarding, dishwashing and kitchen cleaning services at restaurants and F&B establishments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for manpower management, operational planning, client coordination, service quality and contract performance.

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage daily cleaning operations, particularly kitchen stewarding and restaurant cleaning services.

2. Supervise kitchen stewards, dishwashing teams and cleaning personnel across assigned client sites.

3. Plan manpower deployment, duty rosters, work schedules and relief manpower arrangements.

4. Ensure kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, sanitation and waste management services meet required hygiene standards.

5. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor cleaning standards, staff performance and operational efficiency.

6. Liaise with restaurant management and clients regarding cleaning requirements, manpower arrangements and service delivery.

7. Manage cleaning contracts, operational budgets, manpower costs and service profitability.

8. Develop and implement cleaning procedures, operational guidelines and quality control measures.

9. Ensure compliance with workplace safety, food hygiene and applicable employment regulations.

10. Handle customer feedback, operational issues and service improvements.

11. Train, guide and evaluate cleaning supervisors and operational personnel.

12. Prepare operational reports, manpower plans and service performance evaluations.

13. Support business development, new cleaning contracts and contract renewals.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Facilities Management, Hospitality Management or a related discipline.

2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cleaning operations, facilities management, hospitality or F&B cleaning services.

3. Experience managing cleaning teams, kitchen stewarding operations and multiple client sites.

4. Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, kitchen hygiene and workplace safety.

5. Strong leadership, manpower planning and operational management skills.

6. Good communication, problem-solving and client management abilities.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational reporting.

8. Able to work independently and manage multiple cleaning contracts.
