Job Description

A consumer goods distribution group is looking for an Accounts Executive to support its finance team. You will process day-to-day transactions and keep records audit-ready.

What You'll Be Doing

Record expenses and process supplier invoices in the ERP system with complete supporting documents
Prepare and post payment vouchers for timely vendor payments
Maintain the accounts receivable ledger and match customer payments to invoices
Process staff claims in line with company policy
Perform bank and supplier statement reconciliations
Follow up on reconciling items
Maintain well-organised accounting records for audits and reviews
Support month-end closing and statutory audits
Assist with year-end stocktakes
Perform other finance duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline and above
1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Working knowledge of ERP or accounting software
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Meticulous and organised
Good communication and teamwork
Able to meet deadlines
