Job Description

Shape how a global Treasury organization runs—where strong execution and strong controls go hand in hand. You’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, remove operational friction, and deliver measurable outcomes across Asia. We’ll give you visibility across the full Treasury operating model and opportunities to broaden your impact through strategic projects. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment that values sound judgment, clear communication, and ownership, you’ll do well here.

As a Business Manager (Vice President) in Treasury and Chief Investment Office (TCIO) Business Management – Asia, you drive the business management agenda that enables safe, scalable Treasury operations. You partner with Treasury leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives, improve processes, and resolve day-to-day business issues. You help ensure clear documentation, effective governance, and a strong risk and control environment. You’ll work across the transaction lifecycle with Operations, Technology, Finance, Risk, and Control partners to keep priorities moving and outcomes delivered.

Treasury and Chief Investment Office (TCIO) manages the firm’s balance sheet and liquidity, including funding, short-term cash deployment, and compliance with liquidity requirements. The team also helps manage structural interest rate and foreign exchange risk and supports decision-making through strong governance and transparency. You’ll contribute to work that is highly visible, cross-business, and closely linked to risk management and regulatory expectations.

• Provide strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to support business decisions and operating model improvements

• Own and maintain clear documentation for front office processes, governance routines, and key decisions

• Resolve day-to-day business questions related to funding positions, cash management, funds transfer pricing (FTP), and investment activities

• Coordinate across Operations, Finance, Risk, Controls, and Technology to identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes

• Represent the team in operational forums and committees, ensuring follow-through on actions and alignment to priorities

• Support audit, compliance, and regulatory reviews by coordinating responses, evidence, and remediation actions

• Strengthen control and processing frameworks by identifying gaps, defining requirements, and driving implementation

• Build and maintain business continuity plans for front office operations, including testing and continuous improvement

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 10 years of experience in business management, business support, or a similar role within a global financial institution

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline

• Demonstrated knowledge of Treasury products, economics, and the end-to-end Treasury operating model and governance

• Working knowledge of liquidity risk, structural interest rate risk, structural foreign exchange risk, and funds transfer pricing (FTP)

• Broad understanding of products across banking and markets businesses

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Demonstrated ability to apply independent judgment with a strong risk and control mindset

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous problems and communicate clear conclusions

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence across diverse stakeholder groups

• Proven execution and ownership skills in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Master of Business Administration (MBA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

• Experience supporting Treasury or balance sheet management functions in Asia

• Experience improving operating models, controls, or process frameworks across front office and supporting functions

• Experience using low-code automation tools to streamline workflows and reporting

• Familiarity with committee governance, action tracking, and executive-ready communications

• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning Operations, Technology, Finance, and Risk teams
