Job Description
Location: Central
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support scalable cloud and infrastructure platforms across development, staging, and production environments.
- Manage and optimise Azure and hybrid cloud environments, including compute, storage, networking, virtualisation, and platform services.
- Provide cloud operations support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance optimisation to ensure platform reliability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
- Perform system patching, security hardening, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance activities.
- Support cloud modernisation and containerisation initiatives using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, application teams, and vendors to deliver infrastructure enhancements and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations.
- Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure and/or hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux administration, virtualisation, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, networking, monitoring, security best practices, disaster recovery, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to IM8 or other regulated/government environments is advantageous
