The Role

Join a fast-paced and highly specialised Day Ward environment, providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing a wide range of diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures. As a Day Ward Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate and patient-centred care throughout the patient's treatment journey, from pre-procedure preparation to post-procedure recovery.

Key Accountabilities

1 KNOWLEDGE OF DAY WARD ENVIRONMENT

2 CARE OF PATIENT FOR PROCEDURE

Pre and post Angiogram
Pre and post Renal Biopsy
Pre and post Lung Biopsy
Post Renal Ablation
Lumbar Puncture
Bone Marrow Aspiration
Chest tube insertion/removal
Abdominal paracentesis
Central venous line insertion/removal

3 CARE OF EYE SURGERY PATIENT

4 MANAGEMENT OF CYTOTOXIC DRUGS

5 MANAGE INTRAVENOUS CYTOTOXIC EXTRAVASATION

6 CARE OF PATIENT UNDER SEDATION

7 CARDIAC MONITORING

8 Telemetry

9 CARE OF PATIENT WITH PATIENT CONTROLLED ANALGESIA (PCA) PUMP

Qualifications & Experience

Possess Degree / Diploma in Nursing
