Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop, test and maintain automation scripts, workflows, dashboards and operational utilities.
Translate operational requirements into automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
Configure and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability platforms across infrastructure and applications.
Develop dashboards, alerts, thresholds, reports and service views; perform alert tuning and noise reduction.
Monitor system health, performance and capacity, and troubleshoot alerts, incidents, failed jobs and integrations.
Support incident, problem and change activities, including validation and post-change monitoring.
Support system onboarding, monitoring integrations, data validation and alert routing.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related discipline.
3–5 years of experience in automation, monitoring, observability, IT operations or a related technical role.
Hands-on scripting experience in Python, PowerShell or Shell scripting.
Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as BMC Helix, Remedy, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace or Splunk.
Good knowledge of Linux/Windows, infrastructure monitoring, dashboards, alerts, logs and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
Exposure to Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, APIs, Version Control or AIOps will be an added advantage.
