Senior/ C&S Engineer

• Involves all aspects relating to the design and construction management of all types of civil and structural systems for industrial facility buildings;
• Assists project managers in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule and quality;
• Prepares, issues and evaluates tender packages;
• Design and construction experience, preferably in industrial buildings with precast and long-span roof trusses.
• Site experience on piling works, substructure and superstructure works for reinforced concrete, steel structures and precast structures.
• Experience working closely with process, mechanical and electrical disciplines and quantity surveyors.
• Experience of liaising with consultants and contractors.
• Experience with checking shop drawings for precast and steel structures and being able to do detailed design and work in a team and being able to provide details for the computer-aided design team.
• Coordinates with architectural, process, mechanical, and electrical disciplines and quantity surveyors;
• Address site issues related to design;
• Liaises with consultants and subcontractors;
• Manages timely submission and approvals from local authorities.
• Responsible for ensuring to remain familiar with current practices and engineering trends within the industry and to remain technically competent;
• Ad hoc duties as determined by management.

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• 4-10 years of design and construction experience.
• Element design based on codal requirements
• Knowledge of structural design software STAAD-Pro, Prokon, Orion, etc. (if any)
